Sibur to decide on Amur plant investment after excise refund law

MOSCOW, Dec 25 (PRIME) -- Russian petrochemical company Sibur is ready to accept an investment decision on the Amur gas chemical plant but is waiting for a state ruling on refunding of the ethane and liquefied hydrocarbon gases excise, co-owner of the company Leonid Mikhelson told reporters on Wednesday.

“No, there have not been a decision (on the Amur gas chemical plant). All the information is ready for a decision but I would like to see a bill on excise refund, which is being considered… to be solved. And after that we can decide,” Mikhelson said.
